General FAQ

GENERAL FAQ:

1. E.B is based in Singapore, but international orders are most welcome. ^_^ We are willing to ship to any country of your choice.
2. Shipping and handling costs will be borne by buyer. All stated prices DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES unless otherwise stated.
3. For preorders, goods will always be shipped in bulk from Japan/Korea to Singapore, then re-distributed from there.
4. To Singapore customers: Our preferred mode of communication is via email or commenting on Livejournal, this is so as to better facilitate keeping track of past and ongoing transactions. ^_^ Kindly submit all orders/enquires to the respective order post, or to our email address which can be located below. SMS or phone will be limited to contacting us during meetup sessions only.
5. Kindly refrain from posting any highly confidential personal information (contact number, address) and payment details in posts wherein comments are NOT screened. You may however, discuss with us in private via email.
6. Updates are carried out via email or can be found at our TWITTER page (recommended if you want more regular, abeit minor updates).
7. For preorders, email updates will be only sent when the goods have reached us and are ready to be distributed. Estimated arrival dates will always be stated at the preorder post. Kindly refrain from rushing us for updates until the estimated arrival period has passed.
8. Most importantly, please read the THINGS TO NOTE section for the respective catalogue you're interested in carefully. We shall not be liable for any disputes or misunderstandings arising from ignorance of the terms already stated there.

• PHOTOS / POSTCARDS - Sealed in a plastic wrapper with stiff, hard cardboards on either side.
• UCHIWAS - Stiff, hard cardboards on either side.
• PAMPHLETS / MAGAZINES / CLEAR FILES / BOOKS - Bubblewrap envelope with stiff edges. Cardboard backing may be used at our discretion or upon request (will add to shipping fees due to increased weight).
• POSTERS - Very thick, hard poster tube. Bubblewrap will be used to secure the sides.
• CDs/DVDs - Minimum 3 layers of bubblewrap will be used to provide cushioning. In the case of multiple items, a box may be used instead of thick wrapping paper / envelope.
• OTHER MISC. GOODS - Bubblewrap and/or bubblewrap envelope. For bulkier items, a box may be used.

1. EMS [ Includes tracking. Most costly. Estimated delivery period can take 2 working days to a week. ]
2. Airmail [ Estimated delivery period can take a few days to 2 weeks. Add USD 2 / SGD 2.24 to upgrade to registered. ]
3. Surface mail [ Cheapest but has a longer delivery period. Recommended for non-urgent, heavy weight orders. Add USD 2 / SGD 2.24 to upgrade to registered. ]

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. We reserve the right to refuse any orders without notification of reason.
2. We will not be responsible for any mail lost in transit if you opt out of registered post.
3. We will use utmost effort in packaging all goods safely and securely (see above for more details). However, we shall not be liable for any damages arising from neglect on the postal service's part when the goods are in transit.
4. If you're no longer interested in getting the item, please have the courtesy to let us know so that we can let it go to other interested parties. We won't bite! ^_^
5. Dead buyers (subsequent failings to respond to our emails, backing out of a transaction etc.) will be blacklisted and banned at our own discretion. 
6. Strictly no cancellations or changes will be accepted after we have received payment and confirmed your order. No refunds will be made to buyers who back out of a paid transaction.
7. Unfortunately, we have encountered users who resell goods they get from us at a higher price. This is very unfair to other buyers (especially for limited edition/quantity items) who are truly sincere in purchasing these goods for personal use, but had to be turned away as avaliability ran out. We do not take exploitation of our services lightly and such buyers will be blacklisted and banned immediately.

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS:

1. Paypal in USD or SGD. Buyer to bear any admin fees if required. [PRIORITY]
2. Concealed cash in USD/SGD (at buyer's own risk)
3. POSB/DBS bank transfer (buyers located in Singapore only). No interbank transfers at the moment. [PRIORITY]
4. Meetup at our convenience. (buyers located in Singapore only)
5. Western Union
